The Genealogy Research Consultation is a flexible, one-hour service for general family-history research and other work charged on an hourly basis. It can be used for anything from reviewing an existing family tree to investigating a specific person, place, record or family line. Depending on your needs, the hour may include searching historical records, reviewing and verifying information already collected, assessing conflicting evidence, identifying likely next steps, tracing a family branch, interpreting documents, or helping you develop a practical research strategy. You can also use this service where you simply need professional research time rather than a larger fixed-price package. If the work is likely to require several hours, we can define the scope and priorities in advance so that the available time is used where it is most valuable. The consultation is available in person in Mosman, Sydney, or by video call. Where appropriate, research can also be carried out independently during the booked hour and the findings then discussed with you. No matter whether you are just starting out or have been researching your family for years, the focus is on providing clear, practical assistance tailored to your particular question.
